Zomato has 4 main business there are 3 B2C and 1 B2B. They 3 B2C are food delivery which is their biggest business, quick commerce and Going out which is a ticketing business. Their B2B business is delivering supplies. They fastest growing businesses are their quick commerce which grew at 116 percent YoY for revenue and their supply deliveries which grew at 111 percent YoY for revenue. For their food delivery they have a platform which an allows customers to order on their platform and then those orders are completed by the restaurant and delivered by their delivery fleet. Their total mount of orders has risen by 16 percent to 753 million. They also run a program called tomato gold which allows members to get special benefits and that number has tripled to 7.4 million users. In their food delivery they offer 5 main things. The newest of the 5 is being piloted in special locations and is called Zomato everyday which is when home like meals are being ordered and delivered to their door step. Zomato legends which is basically just the top meals from top restraints. Healthy which is if customers want to eat healthy and these meals have been made by nutritionists for restaurants. Large order fleets which is when people are like having a party then instead of the 2 wheelers which probably can’t carry all that they get a 3 wheeler. Lastly they have partnered up with the IRCTC to let people order food 30 minutes prior to their train so they can have it in the train. They acquired the quick commerce company blink it which basically allows customers to order food which is delivered inside 15 minutes. Their orders have grown by 71 percent to 203 million. Their number of stores have also increased by 149 percent to 526. From blink it you can order a range of stuff from toys to plants to sports and even gaming accessories. There third B2C is there going out business which comprises of 2 parts which are their dining out business and there ticketing business. For there dining out business customers can basically discover restraints through there ratings and also book their table there. This service is in India and in the UAE. For their ticketing customer can book these through their live app and the shows they offer include food carnivals, music concerts, comedy shows primarily. Lastly is there B2B business hyperpure which allows other business to other food ingredients and other stuff which is then delivered to them. Their revenue of this business has grown by 111 percent in the last year. Their profit became 351 cr which is a major improvement from previous years -971 cr. Summary. I think this is a very attractive business despite there being so little to read their business itself is one that is on the rise. This is because everything is becoming online these days. With them already delivering food who knows what else they can expand into. I certainly think that the increase in their total revenue from -971 to 351 cr is definitely an indicator of good things to come. Blinkit is probably going to be one of the faster growing segments for them and that resulted with the numbers. Personal thoughts. With swiggy also coming in there might be a slight impact but because of swiggies DHRP that I read it shows a lot of potential. It is kind of like cams and kfintech where it is a duopoly.
